What do you do in Canada when you shoot all your dark geese in the morning? Well, you chase ducks in the evening. A section of water holes that was scouted out has the ducks going from water to water and just puddle jumping and we are trying to get in between them with a small spread to pull them in. Light rain and overcast has the birds moving and there are a ton of Pintails and lots of brown ducks with a lot of immature drake mallards.
This is a special trip for Adam Patterson a Weatherby dealer in Canada as he gets on his first real good waterfowl trip. We even get to see a true Scotch Double on ducks on camera.
