This has been a trip we were planning for a few years and finally got it all together. In the next few episodes we are hunting with all the FA Carves. All of them are world champions in their own right and all have a different view on carving, birds and being in the outdoors. They are all great men in their own rights and as creative as it gets in this industry.
This episode is focused on Pat Godin from Canada. Pat is 17 time, well at the time of filming he was, but he is now an 18 Time World Decoy Carving Champion with a love for waterfowl and other birds and talent that has not been seen in the carving world possibly ever. He has a PHD in Mallards and that is not a joke. Pat did extensive studies on Mallards at University and knows those birds like no other man I have ever met. He is fun to be around and one heck of a hunter. He is the glue that keeps all the carvers together and if we did not have Pat, we would not have been able to get the rest of the carvers in our group.
