This has been a trip we were planning for a few years and finally got it all together. In the next few episodes, we are hunting with all the FA Carvers. All of them are World Champions and all have a different view on carving, birds and being in the outdoors. They are all great men in their own rights and as creative as it gets in this industry.
This episode is focused on Wayne Simkin from Ontario Canada. Wayne is a very soft spoken, jovial character with an eye for making a decoy come to life. He is the only carve we have that is still working a full-time job and carving on the side. Not sure how he balances all that while turning out incredible decoys for us to reproduce. Wayne loves waterfowl hunting especially divers on the big water but he is going to have to settle for some Missouri Mallards, Wigeon and Gadwall right in his face for this go round.

So, we rolled down to the back parking lot at Christ Presbyterian Church in hopes that the good Lord might lend us a minor miracle, and bless us with a sunrise service that none of us would ever forget. We're thankful to see another hunting season roll around.
