The 2023 season was almost over when Ernie received some intel that a gobbler had seen on a piece of property that he had permission to hunt. That next Saturday Ernie and Richard aka R-Dubb headed out in hopes that the gobbler was still in the area. When daylight broke the only thing roosted on the property was some hens and jakes. Just as the guys were about to pack up, Ernie hit his Head Busta pot call one last time. A gobbler answered from about 500 yards across a potato field. The action heats up fast and ends up being one of the most adrenaline filled hunts Ernie has had in a long time.
