The focus of this episode is the pristine Izembek refuge and the species that is most dependent on it’s one of a kind habitat. We focus on the Pacific Black Brant and the main food source that they depend on. Brant and Eel grass, both abundant in Alaska’s Izembek refuge! We can explore the Alaska Initiative and all that DU is doing to aid in the migration from the Last frontier to many locations across North America.
