The word legend is often thrown around but few people stack up to the longstanding impact and importance to the water fowling industry as a guy like Pat Pitt. On this episode Co-Host Doug Larsen joins this longtime friend and hunting partner Pat Pitt for a multi-generational adventure in the heart of the water fowling mecca of Arkansas. The weather was cold, snow had fallen but that didn’t stop the DUTV crew from spending time in the woods with Pat’s longtime friend and dog trainer, Chris Akin. Legends and legacy are two key components in carrying on the sport we all love. Legacy is displayed in Pat as well as we are also joined by his son Steven who is involved in the gun buying program for the DU banquets system as well as Stevens son-Pats Grandson–Reid. We talk the importance of banquets system and what we can do as hunters and conservationists to improve and adapt what we are doing to ensure the sky is filled with ducks today tomorrow and forever.
