Our exit from Saskatchewan got extended another day as we spotted some Sandhill Cranes in a field on the way back to the lodge from our afternoon duck hunt. The cranes should have migrated through that area, but with the warmer weather some were still coming through. Only one thing to do. Stay another morning and see if we can catch them slipping.
