On this episode we dig deeper into the history of hunter and conservationist, Jack Miner and his bird sanctuary. Mario is joined by Christie and Scott from Delta Waterfowl, and Kyle and Chris from Weatherby. From the Sanctuary Tom and Matthew teach us about his relationships with Henry Ford and Ty Cobb and Joe takes us all around the sanctuary to show us the history of the property and what it looks like today. Heck we even get to band a few birds for the fall and see what information we get back if any of those bands get harvested.
We are also lucky enough to get out for a few hunts with a local volunteer and hunter Tristan as he puts us on some birds. You will have to watch to see if we are lucky enough to get a band or two to track some information from the Sanctuary.
