One afternoon during the 2021 spring turkey season I watched a gobbler strut his way to the back of our horse pasture and fly up. The next morning before work, Knox and I headed back there to see if he would jump on our decoy “Nephew Tommy”. This gobbler had full immunity between us and the neighbors so we didn’t tote the gun but it turned out to be one of the coolest hunts I’ve had despite the horses trying to run the turkey off. Nevertheless, Knox got to do some calling, run the camera and watch his Daddy almost get beat up by an Osceola gobbler.
