OMG THAT’S A LOT!, is an understatement for this hunt. The morning hunt has loads of Honkers, Lessers, Snows, Specks, and ducks with tons of in-your-face action. Our second home to start every season is Tyler Mann’s Saskatchewan Goose Company. He is part of the FA family and has treated us well over the last few years. His people, their accommodations and the waterfowl hunting are truly world class. Tyler’s oldest son Jace joins Jett and Boone on the retrieving team, and it seems like every volley turns into a race for the birds. Also, on this trip there are some firsts. Chris, a Weatherby staffer and Adam a Weatherby dealer get a first-hand look at what a real waterfowl hunt looks like as they are both big game hunters and lead busy lives with work. This is also Mario’s dog Jett’s first trip to Canada so he is as excited as a true duck dog can get. Group after group in our faces makes this hunt go quick and the mixed bag keeps everyone guessing on what is going to come in next.
