Ernie had been watching these gobblers on his trail cameras since mid-December and thought he had them figured out. After getting humbled multiple times in the late season he switched properties to hunt a fresh bird. It turns out that the bird was an escapee artist just like the others he had been hunting. With only five days left in the season and Ernie knowing this was his hunt of the season, he hits both tracks of land in the same morning hoping to find a lonesome gobbler. The first hunt was unsuccessful but as he was pulling up to the second property he noticed the rooster out in the field next to the property and knew the gobblers had to be close by. Once Ernie got set up it wasn’t long before he had two big Osceola gobblers in his lap.
