Mario has known Cody Reeves and his dad Pop Reeves since Cody was 9 years old. Cody would come to all the waterfowl events and enter and win the calling contests and his dad “Pop Reeves” would travel with him everywhere. They are the nicest people on the planet and now that Cody is married with his own kids and Pops lives down the road, so we make sure to share time with both of them when we head there in the spring. This episode puts Pops on the gun for an afternoon hunt chasing some late season strutters that think they have where they want us. Well, that doesn’t work out for them.
