Tagine is a delicious traditional Moroccan dish. Alyssa's recipe features braised venison instead of chicken, but any kind of wild game will work well! Flavored with hanout, garlic, onion, honey, and dates, it’s festive and company-worthy yet also easy enough to throw together on a not-too-busy weeknight.
Fun fact: the word tagine refers to the shallow clay vessel with a cone-shaped lid that the dish is traditionally cooked in, but you don’t need one of these to make it.
