On this episode of Leupold's Dream Season Live we are in Iowa with Bryce Meis. Bryce and his Wife Ellie just purchased their first home in Southern Iowa and go through the work of transforming the few acres of grasses into a deer haven! Putting a lot of sweat equity into the farm, it is in shape, and it doesn’t take long for a giant to show up. After weeks of this buck sneaking around in the back yard at nighttime, Bryce decides to call this deer Crook, and he spends the rest of his season chasing this deer. After numerous encounters and sightings of Crook, he vanishes for days at a time during the annual rut and hope begins to dwindle again. The morning of November 18th Bryce’s other target he calls Shrek makes an appearance and gives Bryce an opportunity that he could not pass up.
