After Killing Evander, we felt really good about going back to Illinois and getting an opportunity at the buck we were after. The weather was right, it was late October, and it just seemed like everything was adding up for this to be a successful trip. Even though we saw the shooter we were after and another really good deer, after 4 days of hunting we decided to pack up again and try our luck in Iowa. For a hard core whitetail bow hunter chasing big deer its hard to beat sitting in a tree in Iowa at the end of October and early November. We couldn’t have timed this up more perfect. The bucks were on their feet, we were seeing giant deer, and it was just a matter of time before we ran in to one in bow range. Sit back and enjoy the second episode of Whitetail Edge Season 4, “Iowa”.
