Ben Mears took an interest in taxidermy at 12 years old. Since then, he has honed his skill of mounting deer, participating in competitions and making his own forms after careful study of the whitetail deer. He has reached the "specialist" ranks due to his appreciation of the beauty of the whitetail deer, and helping people remember their hunt by preserving the animal is truly special.
