The early teal season in the south represents the kick off to the chase we all love. DUTV Co-Host Doug Larsen joins Higdon Outdoors Brook Richard and enthusiastic Louisiana DU Volunteer Jared Seringe for a taste of all that Sportsman’s paradise has to offer. Creole, culture, teal, cuisine, redfish, are all on the menu in this episode. We hunt teal in the expansive marsh system that supports an abundance of life. We capitalize on the rich ecosystem by also targeting crawling Redfish and Jack Crevalle with a fly rod on Brook Richards fish experience with a fly rod in his hand. Doug Larsen, a man of many talents, shares his deep knowledge of saltwater fishing with Brook and we look at the connection between the work that DU does to protect and enhance Louisiana’s critical duck habitat and clean and abundant water that benefits other species like Redfish.
