We are in our home state of Ohio this week and we are hosting the owner of Black Widow Deer Lures, Andy and his wife Janice for an early season hunt on some of our farms. The weather was warm and the deer movement was slow but it was a great week spending time with Andy and Janice. Briar is my 11 year old son who has worked extremely hard this past year putting up Spartan Trail Cameras, helping with food plots and hanging tree stands. I have always wanted him to earn his hunts and especially the opportunities at a big buck. This year was his year. Because he worked so hard in the off season he earned his chance at a really good deer. Early November rolled around and he finally got his chance. He shot the biggest deer of his life out of a Redneck Blind and I could not be more proud of him. Check out his hunt on this weeks episode of Whitetail Edge called “Briar”.
