On this episode of Deer Season '23, we're heading to Missouri rifle camp for an awesome week of hunting. Bruce Pettet and Coon Dog killed early and if you want to check those hunts out head over to Episode 7 of Dream Season Live. First up, we have Wade Robinson heading into the new farm sitting over a green field that we put in this last summer. Wade had an awesome encounter with a big up and comer that he decided to pass. Wasn’t long after that encounter his shooter stepped into the field and was able to put perfect shot on him using the Winchester! Up next, Taylor Drury was able to fill her Missouri buck tag in the same blind Mark Drury ends up killing out of. Taylor was hunting hard morning and night to hopefully catch an opportunity at a mature buck. About a week into season Perry Battin and Taylor head into County Road Bottom blind to hopefully catch on of the few matures on their feet. It didn’t take long into that evening sit when they happened to catch movement in the standing beans. Taylor was able to finally wrap her rifle tag around a stud Missouri 10 point. Mark a lot like Taylor was hunting hard all season but not seeing the one buck he’s been chasing “Hank”. This is a deer with a few years of history and number one on Marks shoot list. With the wind back in his favor Mark and Wade head back into County Road Bottom Blind for the evening sit. As soon as they get into the blind, Mark cleans the back window and unexpectedly spots “Hank” at 30 – 40 yards. Not completely ready yet Mark loads the Winchester quick and puts an awesome shot on him at 30 yards! As always, thank you so much for the continued support of the Deer Season 22 series!
