In 2009, Nate Watson survived an ambush in Afghanistan that left him with both physical and mental wounds. Wounds that led Nate on a tumultuous journey from destructive self-medication, to genuine healing through outdoor therapy with Veterans Afield Foundation. Now, as Veterans Advisory Committee Chairman, Nate shares his love of the outdoors with his fellow veterans, and hopefully, the healing it provides.
