Ducks Unlimited's film visits three generations of duck hunters sharing cherished traditions and valuable life lessons amid the flooded fields and timber of Arkansas.
Stephen Reynolds, a longtime Ducks Unlimited volunteer and former national secretary for the organization, invited his son-in-law and grandsons to his duck camp for a special weekend of fun and learning.
“This weekend, we’ve had the opportunity to introduce two of my grandsons to duck hunting,” says Reynolds. “This is succession planning for me. It’s training up my sons-in-law, my grandsons, my granddaughters to hunt and to appreciate the out of doors. And I think that’s part of my responsibility. And I think that responsibility was really impressed upon me by Ducks Unlimited.”
Reynolds and his family are also joined by retriever trainer Mike Stewart and Deke, the DU Dog. Deke is the father of Reynolds’ dog, Gus.
