On this episode of Deer Season 24 we join Perry Battin as he shares a truly heartbreaking story of a missed opportunity in the great state of Iowa. It all starts in the summer of 2022 when the guys were checking trail cameras, and a 6.5 year old buck that they knew from years past had blown up into a giant for the upcoming season. After many attempts to encounter this elusive animal, Perry finally got to lay eyes on this bruiser and he puts on an incredible show on the evening of October 19th. As luck would have it, the story ends in a disappointing heartbreak, but the chapter of this incredible deer finally comes to a close.
