Despite the torrential rains in the forecast, I head into the Wisconsin timber to find a longbeard that didn't mind talking in the rain! It took a couple hours worth of "cat and mouse" before I convinced this ole boy into having a look.

We're under another longbearded MERRIAMS gobbler as he wakes up but he TOSSES a curveball when he hops off the LIMB in the DARK! It takes a few HOURS but we catch back up to him and his ladies after a long crawl and longer WAIT. But it all comes together as he's led back past us in FULL STRUT.
