Upon finding an I.E.D. “the hard way” Major Joe Bogart awakes to be told that they will have to remove his right eye. After multiple surgeries and the terror of possible, complete blindness, he chooses to return to his brothers and sisters-in-arms and continues to serve until he retires. Getting to see turkeys come in is a delight, of which he’s incredibly grateful. See why he is worthy of all our HONOR.
