The National Wild Turkey Federation classified six major regions across 738 million acres to best identify the urgent needs of wild turkeys across the country.
Here we follow the Rocky Mountain Restoration Initiative in Colorado, a partner of NWTF, as they work tirelessly to thin and treat forests to eliminate the threat of catastrophic wildfire.
They cannot keep up with the rate of wildfires across the state, and they stress the urgent need to protect the landscape and natural resources of Colorado.
