I have hunted this 60-acre tract of land for over 20 years and the many memories that have been made hunting with my Dad are priceless. About 10 years ago all of the timber was cut on this tract of land, leaving it almost impossible to access without blowing the deer out of the country. Over the next couple of years, we focused on hunting in our club while we waited for the brush to get tall enough at our small track. About 4 years later I ventured back and I was shocked at the number of mature bucks that called this 60 acres piece of land home. That season my buddy Randi and I tagged a couple of nice mature bucks one of them being my biggest buck to date. A couple of succeful seasons past and in October of 2020 we rolled into camp and my Dad couldn't stop smiling and said "You boys aren't going to believe the buck we have on camera". He was by far the biggest buck we have ever had on camera in the 20 plus years of hunting this piece. We named him Bull Winkle and hunted him hard in 2020 with no sighting of him but I managed to get his running mate on the last morning which was a 130'' 8 point. All Summer long I tried to get back up to hang new stands, plant food plots, and set out cameras but the life of a Part Timer got in the way. Randy and find ourselves heading back up to Georgia the third week of November to try to find this buck we call Bull Winkle and to hopefully wrap our hands around him.
